About Jake Horowitz, LCSW

I provide a safe, supportive, and confidential space for you to discuss what’s most important to you. We will work together to explore and unpack problems and transform them into goals. Together we will help you develop a toolbox of coping strategies and build the life you want to be living.

In addition to helping manage anxiety, stress, and life transitions, I specialize in supporting folks in navigating the complexities of dating and relationships, identity, and sexuality. I also have expertise in treating male sexual dysfunction.

My style is warm and collaborative, with an approach rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness, with a strong emphasis on developing and enhancing coping strategies.

I am a Pennsylvania licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and graduated with a Master's degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work. I have years of experience working as a therapist in various settings, facilitating both individual and group therapy

In addition to running my private practice, I am associated with The Philatherapy Network and serve on the board of The Men's Center for Growth and Change

Schedule an appointment with me and we can figure out how to support you in pursuing the intentional and meaningful life you're seeking.
